DESCRIPTION:The High Tech Fair is a collaborative effort between the S
 cience Alliance, the San Diego County Office of Education and San Dieg
 o City Schools. It has grown over the past eleven years to include ov
 er 60 exhibitors from local cutting-edge STEM organizations and nea
 rly 3000 students in attendance.\nThe \"Tech Fair\" is unique in that 
 its charter is to enlighten 7th-12th grade students to the world of sc
 ience and the possibilities of a scientific career. Local participatin
 g companies, who provide the interactive experiences for the students,
  find the experience fun and rewarding. The students enjoy seeing 'rea
 l life' applications of what they may be learning in the classroom. Th
 is is a wonderful venue for a cooperative effort between business and
