This talk will review the current challenges facing drug development in general and CNS drug development in particular.  As current models are seen to have failed with increasing cost and decreased productivity, it is clear that the future will look different.  The trends likely to become more prominent and the possible solutions that may successfully disrupt our current models will be discussed.

AUDIENCE.  This program will be relevant to individuals in drug development and in medical practice.  Pre-clinical drug development scientists, clinical research investigators, study coordinators, CRAs, study site directors, regulatory professionals, physicians, and others.
