Dr. Steve Kay (Dean of the UCSD Division of Biological Sciences and member of the National Academy of Sciences) recently gave a lecture at the UCSD Biomedical Library in which he provided a broad overview of the environmental, economic and security issues surrounding the need to generate transportation fuels from biomass in a sustainable fashion.

This lecture is now available online.

Hello Current Grad and Former UCSD Bio Grad Students!
A few of the alumni are trying to organize a networking event that hopefully we will be able to hold on a regular basis for current and former life sciences students from UCSD.
