About Me:

I have been in Biotech in California for the last 20 years, at Viagene, Chiron, BioMedica, Advantagene and now Tocagen. All of these were associated in one way or another with developing genes as a biopharmaceuticals, so I have done everything from money-raising, through setting up labs and hiring an initial team to running Phase II clinical trials. My big company experience at Chiron (6 years) confirmed that I prefer smaller dynamic company environments to get things done.
