I am a developmental neuropharmacologist (specializing in the mechanisms underlying pain and addiction during development) and lapsed academic who has grown somewhat disillusioned with the traditional academic scene and has returned home to San Diego to try his hand at private research for the local biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
