Often, I've ran into people that have misquoted or have been misinformed by "Junk sites." These junk sites, I admit do have the front end glitters (fancy interface) and tout many things about their product by (numerical statistics and testimonials.) However, in the end we have many people spreading bad data and mortifying our society.
